Daniele Roberto Gialluisi has been appointed as Executive Chef at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas are brought in a new executive chef. Italian national Daniele Roberto Gialluisi steps into the Saadiyat Island property from a fellow Park Hyatt hotel overseas.

Gialluisi has been working with the Park Hyatt brand for almost six years, first joining Park Hyatt Dubai as executive chef in 2016. From there, he moved to Moscow to hold the head chef title at the Park Hyatt hotel there.

As early as 2006, Giallusi was chef de cuisine of the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship, employed by Ferrari. Starting in the world of hotels, he became Italian chef for Marriott in Beijing during the capital's Olympic Games in 2008.

Returning to Italy, he became head chef of Guido Guidi, considered one of the country's top catering companies. Staying in the role for three years, he managed gala dinners across the country, working with world-renowned chefs and on occasion serving upwards of 5,000 people.

Returning to hospitality, he became head chef of Grand Hotel Kalidria Thalasso and Spa; followed by head chef of Four Seasons in Milan. In 2014, he moved to Dubai as head chef of Heinz Beck, later moving to Palazzo Versace Dubai as head chef.

Now at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, he leads venues including Shala Beach Lounge, Mate, The Café, Beach House, the Library and in-room dining.
