Christopher Lund named Executive Director – head of hotels MENA at Colliers International Hotels

Christopher Lund has been named executive director - head of hotels MENA region within Colliers International. Lund was previously director - head of hotels for nearly four years but since that time, the department has doubled in size.
In the new role, Lund will continue to provide advice to hotel developers, governments, financial institutions and investors while working with operators, law firms and designers to deliver optimal strategies and projects.
Working throughout the region and closely with the global Colliers offices, he makes sure to stay connected with cutting-edge trends and intelligence from around the world for local projects. Lund and his team will continue to focus on advisory, asset management, valuations and transactions - covering core and non-core hospitality sector assets from hotels and branded residences to theme parks and marinas.
Lund has worked with Colliers for a decade, starting as a consultant for hospitality real estate in 2012. From there, he moved up to senior consultant, associate manager, manager, senior manager, and finally associate director within hospitality real state.
Steeping into a more overseeing role in 2018, he became director-head of hotels, leading a team of 13 experts across MENA.
Before Colliers, he worked with Jumeirah Creekside Hotel as a financial analyst, responsible for budgeting processes, cost optimisation, budgets and forecasting.
Lund and his team regularly contribute reports on the hospitality industry featured on Hotelier Middle East. Lund himself last month took part in a panel discussion moderated by Hotelier and Caterer Middle East group editor Paul Clifford.
