Jovian Mascarenhas has been promoted to Executive Chef at Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills

Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills has appointed Jovian Masarenhas as executive chef. Part of the hotel since pre-opening, and previously chef de cuisine of FireLake Grill House, the promotion is a recognition of his contribution to the hotel's F&B offerings.

Before Radisson, the chef spent three years working with Hyatt in Delhi, later relocating to Dubai to join Jumeirah Al Qasr.

The executive chef works alongside some highly celebrated members of the Dubai F&B industry.

In fact, the chef and restaurant manager for the city's legendary JW Steakhouse now find themselves in the same positions at FireLake Grill House Restaurant and Bar at Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills. JW Steakhouse was a legendary venue in Dubai

Chef Muhammad Iqbal and manager Casmiro D'Souza worked together at JW Marriott Dubai Deira for 12 years, right until the hotel's closure in 2019. Radisson described the pair as a "dream team".

Reunited at FireLake, the hotel's general manager Sattanathan said it was like bringing together "Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United."
