Achim Herterich has been appointed as General Manager at Sheraton Melbourne

Marriott International has appointed experienced hotelier Achim Herterich as general manager at Sheraton Melbourne. Herterich takes over from Peter Minatsis, who will lead the opening of Le Méridien Melbourne in 2023.

Herterich first joined Marriott in 2015 as executive chef and then food and beverage manager at Sheraton Melbourne before joining the opening team at Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay in 2017. His previous role was hotel manager at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast.
