Matt Dower has joined RobertDouglas as Managing Director
RobertDouglas announced today that Matthew Dower, a 15-year veteran of the hotel industry, has joined the company as Managing Director in the firm's new Chicago office. In this role, Matthew will be involved in every aspect of the firm's business, from investment sales to structured financing and joint venture equity raises.
Dower joins RobertDouglas from Berkadia, a joint venture of Berkshire Hathaway and Jefferies Financial Group, where he spent the last 7-plus years as Managing Director and Director of Operations for the national Hotels & Hospitality team. During his tenure, he gained niche expertise in handling complicated multi-tranched equity and debt transactions, specializing in specific capital sources for hotel assets. He has structured and closed more than100 transactions representing more than $1 billion of commercial real estate.
