Manish Jha has been appointed as General Manager at NH Dubai The Palm
As it approaches its opening day this year, the NH Dubai The Palm has named its general manager. Manish Jha steps in to lead the pre-opening of the Palm Jumeirah property, with his role confirmed and welcomed by Minor Hotels' SVP of operations in MEA Amir Golbarg.
Jha has more than 20 years of hospitality experience, much of it spent working across the Minor Hotels stable. Coming from an F&B background, he first worked as assistant restaurant manager with Taj Exotica Resort & Spa in the Maldives, commencing a long career in such island destinations.
He was later acting F&B manager for One&Only Resorts in the Maldives before joining Anantara Dhigu, Anantara Veli and Naladhu in 2006 as director of F&B. Holding the post for just a year, he was promoted up to resorts manager for the cluster, leading almost 200 private villas and heading more than 600 staff.
Moving to Thailand, he became GM of the Anantara Bophut Koh Samui for four years before moving to the Seychelles as GM of Avani Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa. He later returned to Anantara as its general manager for Hua Hin Resort and the Avani Hua Hin Resort as well.
His most recent Minor Hotels role spanned 2017 to 2019 where he was promoted up to cluster GM.
