Philippe Clarinval has been appointed General Manager at Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois

A member of the Swiss Deluxe Hotels group and of the Leading Hotels of the World, this five-star establishment gains, with Philippe Clarinval, a successful and experienced hotelier with a solid academic background. After an MBA, Philippe Clarinval devoted himself last year to his doctorate at the University of Liverpool.

Previously, he ran The Omnia in Zermatt for seven years, a luxury establishment which became, under his leadership, one of the most renowned five-star boutique hotels in Switzerland. The Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois was built in 1844.It is one of the oldest city hotels in Europe. Located in the heart of Basel, on the banks of the Rhine, the hotel was renovated between 2004 and 2006 by the Straumann family, with great attention to detail. It is now one of the most important luxury establishments in the world.
