Marcel Li has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is delighted to announce the appointment of Marcel Li as Director of Food and Beverage.

With over a decade of experience in the luxury hospitality industry and having worked in Mandarin Oriental properties across various destinations including Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Boston, Marcel brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in food and beverage operations and strategic planning. In his new capacity, Marcel will be primarily responsible for overseeing the hotel's restaurants, bar, and lounge as well as the banquet facilities. He will assume an integral role in spearheading initiatives to drive operational excellence and elevate the dining experience for guests.

Marcel is no stranger to Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, having previously managed the banquet team as Assistant Banquet Operations Manager before taking on the role as Restaurant Manager of the hotel's all-day dining restaurant, Melt Café. He later advanced to the position of Assistant Director of Food and Beverage of Mandarin Oriental, Shanghai and Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur where he was instrumental in managing the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets and developing revenue optimisation plans, prior to helming the food and beverage department at Mandarin Oriental, Boston as a Director of Food and Beverage.
