Daniel del Olmo has been promoted President, Hotels & Restaurants at Sage Hospitality Group

Sage Hospitality Group announced today a series of organizational changes including the promotion of Daniel del Olmo to president, hotels and restaurants for Sage Hospitality Group; the appointment of Mark Augarten as chief operating officer for Sage Restaurant Concepts; and the streamlining of the company's commercial teams to create a center of excellence that will support all hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues. These changes position Sage for continued growth and success by leveraging all relevant synergies amongst Sage Hospitality's four complementary companies: Sage Hotel Management, Sage Restaurant Concepts, Sage Investments and Sage Studio.
Daniel del Olmo - who has held the role of president and chief operating officer for Sage Hotel Management since January 2020 - has been promoted to president, hotels and restaurants for Sage Hospitality Group, a newly-created position that encompasses complete oversight of all aspects of both Sage Hotel Management and Sage Restaurant Concepts. In this role, del Olmo will oversee a diverse portfolio of more than 110 independent, luxury, lifestyle, softbranded and upscale hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues.
While del Olmo has led Sage's hotel company since January 2020, he boasts impressive hotel and food and beverage experience and knowledge gained from his more than 25 years in hospitality, making him uniquely qualified for this new role. Specifically highlighting Daniel's food and beverage expertise prior to joining Sage, del Olmo served as Chief Executive Officer of sbe's Disruptive Restaurant Group, where he led their award-winning, global portfolio of more than 140 restaurant brands, lounges and nightclubs. In early 2020, readers of Nation's Restaurant News named del Olmo as one of the most influential restaurant CEOs in the country.
