Marriott International is delighted to announce the appointment of Jon Hardcastle, Senior Sales Manager UK & Europe, All-Inclusive, Marriott International.
Bringing a wealth of experience to his new role within the sales team, Jon will help to drive UK and European sales strategy for Marriott International's all-inclusive platform, All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy. Currently, the portfolio comprises 30 immersive getaways including Elegant Hotels in Barbados; Delta Hotels by Marriott Riviera Nayarit, An All-Inclusive Resort, Mexico; Westin Reserva Conchal, An All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa, Costa Rica; and Royalton Grenada, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, Grenada.
Jon's role will focus on supporting growth, introducing fresh avenues for trade partners, and continuing to establish All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy as the brand of choice for all-inclusive travel.
Previously Head of Agency Sales at Elegant Resorts, Jon brings a wealth of knowledge and trade experience to his new role. With a career spanning nearly thirty years, Jon has held senior sales positions at leading brands including ITC Travel Group and Gold Medal Travel Group PLC, establishing an intricate understanding of the luxury travel trade.
Jon's appointment comes at a time of significant expansion for the brand. Marriott International plans to increase its portfolio of all-inclusive resorts in the next few years, expanding into new regions and into the luxury all-inclusive sector, as well as continuing to grow the premium portfolio. Recent additions include: The Westin Porto de Galinhas, An All-Inclusive Resort, Brazil, which opened in June 2022 and is the first South American property to join the All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy portfolio; and Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, Mexico, scheduled to open in December 2022 and the 31st all-inclusive hotel to join the portfolio.
