Remus Palimaru has been appointed as Managing Director at Rosewood Abu Dhabi
Remus Palimaru has joined Rosewood Abu Dhabi as managing director. He brings over two decades of hospitality experience across Europe, Asia and the Americas in some of the world's leading hotels. Rosewood says he has a proven track record in inspiring and leading change and has been a part of nine luxury hotel openings around the globe.
Before joining Rosewood Abu Dhabi, he was the hotel manager of Rosewood London. He also supported Rosewood Bermuda in 2019 as the interim managing director.
Palimaru was born in Romania and brought up in Denmark. He studied at Florida State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. A hands-on individual, he is focused on leading the hotel through its next growth phase, focusing on service excellence and relationship hospitality. He is fluent in Romanian, Danish and English and can converse in German and Japanese.
