David Kianni has been appointed as General Manager at Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo

Sofitel Legend, the renowned French heritage hotel brand, part of world-leading hospitality group Accor, is proud to announce the appointment of David Kianni as General Manager of Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama, the brand's first hotel in the North & Central America region.

In his new role, Kianni will lead with the same passion and confidence he is known for across the hospitality industry, overseeing all aspects of Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama and ensuring it becomes a must-visit destination for travelers from around the world.

Kianni comes to Panama with over 20 years of industry experience, nearly 15 of which were spent in leadership roles across various Sofitel properties. Kianni's most recent roles include General Manager of the Sofitel Bogotá Victoria Regia in Colombia and Pre-opening Project Manager for Sofitel Barú Calablanca Beach Resort, which opened in December 2021. His knowledge of the Sofitel Legend brand runs deep having also spent several years at the iconic Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena in Colombia.
