Stuart Roger has been appointed as Executive Chef at Waldorf Astoria Cancun

Chef Roger brings over 20 years of culinary experience in the restaurant and luxury hospitality space to the resort. Roger began his career as a chef's assistant with Rocco Forte Hotels where he quickly transitioned to station chef, a role held for four years at various properties such as, Evian Royal Resort, Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, and Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer. After successfully working in the kitchens of these luxurious properties, Roger moved to the French Riviera as sous chef of Club Ninety-Six in Los Cabos. In 2011, Roger earned his first role as an executive chef at Quinta Real Monterrey Hotel and held this role across various locations such as Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, Neptune Restaurant at Villa del Arco Cabo San Lucas, and at One&Only Resorts until now taking on the position at Waldorf Astoria Cancun.

Roger earned his degree from Lycée Hôtelier Savoie Léman hotel school in Thonon-Les-Bains, France, where he specialized in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts.
