Pavlina Tarabova Alghamdi has been appointed as General Manager at Meliá Desert Palm Meliá Collection
Meliá Hotels has appointed Pavlina Tarabova Alghamdi as general manager of Meliá Desert Palm in Dubai.
As a seasoned hotelier with a strong UAE and Middle East background, Alghamdi has worked with well-known brands such as Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott Marquis. Most recently, she managed Rove Dubai Marina.
In her new role, Alghamdi will work to further elevate the luxury experience of the resort, with a focus for her and the team on designing memorable guest stays.
She brings a wealth of experience to the position, including time Meliá Hotels International chain, having previously worked as the GM of INNSiDE by Meliá Prague Old Town.
Alghamdi holds a Master's degree in Hospitality and Spa Management and has extensive experience in various roles within the hotel industry. She believes that hospitality is a team sport, and a leader should encourage employees to be the best version of themselves on a daily basis.
