Marcel Eichenberger has been appointed Resort General Manager at CordeValle
After nearly a decade at the property, Eichenberger's promotion comes on the heels of full property renovation that shepherds in the next era of the Northern California resort.
Marcel Eichenberger has recently been appointed Resort General Manager at CordeValle, the Northern California luxury retreat located in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. During his nine year tenure at CordeValle, Eichenberger has been instrumental in upholding the property's rigorous service standards and preparing the property for its recent multi-million dollar renovation. In this new role, Eichenberger will continue to assist in ushering the award-winning property into the next decade by ensuring excellence across experience, amenities and service.
Eichenberger brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry - more specifically working in high-end hotels around the world - to CordeValle. When he joined the CordeValle team in 2014 as Resort Manager, he oversaw all facets of the beloved property from the overall resort experience to golf operations, culinary program and group bookings. His vast experience helped him bring the property's vision of being one of the top luxury golf resorts to life. Before joining CordeValle, he was based in South Africa where he assumed the role of Executive Assistant Manager for the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group for over two years. Prior to the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, he amassed over seven years of food & beverage experience at Fancourt, where he most recently served as the Director of Food & Beverage.
