Michelle Geiger has been named area general hotel manager for Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis and Caption by Hyatt Beale Street Memphis. With more than 25 years of experience working with the esteemed Hyatt Hotels brand, Geiger is tasked with ensuring guest satisfaction, handling daily operations, staff development, budgeting, financial planning and increasing sales and revenue.
Raised in the Windy City, Michelle received her Bachelor's degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She grew her hospitality career by holding various managerial positions at Hyatt properties in Chicago, Rosemont and Houston. Her culinary passions then led her to serve as the director of food and beverage at multiple Hyatt hotels in Wichita, San Antonio, Jersey City and Chicago.
Before residing in the Home of the Blues, Michelle served as corporate director of operations for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, America. Here, she was responsible for the operations of full-service Timeless properties in the Americas.
