Melissa Sheffer has been appointed as Director of Rooms at The Woodstock Inn & Resort
The Woodstock Inn & Resort announces the appointment of Melissa Sheffer to director of rooms. Sheffer brings more than 20 years of experience in hospitality to her new position.
Sheffer joins the Woodstock Inn & Resort from Jay Peak Resort, where she served as director of rooms and community engagement. Sheffer has also held leadership positions at numerous other resorts, including Topnotch Resort & Spa in Stowe, VT, the Enchantment Resort and Mii Amo Spa in Sedona, AZ, Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa in Beaver Creek, CO, Luxury Suites International in Las Vegas, NV, and Tropicana Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV. Sheffer holds multiple certifications in hospitality including Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE), Certified Hospitality Housekeeping Executive (CHHE), Certified Hospitality Department Trainer (CHDT), Certified Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas.
