With the current expansion project, the DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels City hotel will have the largest hotel capacity in Belgium. The hotel will go from 354 to 505 fully renovated rooms. One of the unique features and strengths of this expansion is the construction of a second ballroom of over 600 m2 and 4 additional meeting rooms in addition to the existing ballroom and 16 meeting rooms. The total reception area of the hotel, including the foyer and reception areas, will therefore cover almost 2,750 m2.

A two-storey rooftop bar and restaurant resembling a hanging garden will be set up on the roof of the hotel, entirely for hotel guests and the general public. The breathtaking view of the Botanical Gardens and the skyscrapers of our beautiful Brussels will certainly appeal to everyone. This extension evokes the tone of nineteenth-century Brussels architecture and will also echo the neighboring building by Lener et Pompe and the work of Victor Horta.
