Virginie Barboux

Adagio, the European leader in aparthotels, announces the arrival of Virginie Barboux as Senior Vice-President of Customers and Marketing, member of the management committee. She specifically takes charge of management of the Communication, Marketing, Customer Experience, CSR and Design functions of the company.

Adagio's mission is to support the "Next Adagio" strategic growth plan as it continues its development in France and internationally.

With more than 20 years of experience, Barboux aims to strengthen the reputation and brand image of Adagio with its audiences. Along with optimising the journey and the customer experience both in establishments and digitally to support the ambitious plan of renovation and openings, and to implement the raison d'être of the sign, "Making life in the city more beautiful".

Holder of a Dess in Business Communication, Interculturality and New Technologies, Virginie Barboux began her career in the retail sector and moved on to industry. She worked in the Personal Insurance and Wealth Management market for 15 years, where she notably contributed to the launch of the Skandia life insurance platform on the French market. Following this, she became the Marketing and Communication Director and then Director Management and Partner Relations for the long-term savings subsidiary, Vie Plus within Suravenir, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group.

After an experience in headhunting, Virginie Barboux moved into the hotel industry in 2016 and joined Best Western Hotels & Resorts as Deputy CEO, in charge of Communication, Digital and Customer Experience. In this capacity, she was a member of the Executive Committee for France and the Maghreb as well as a member of the Marketing Functional Team of the group internationally.
