Cole Travers has joined Premier as Real Estate Development Associate
Premier, an end-to-end architecture, design, procurement, and project management and development firm, is pleased to announce that Cole Travers has joined the team as a Real Estate Development Associate. With over five years of experience in the hospitality industry, Travers will support Premier's commitment to growth by leading the evaluation and execution of potential real estate developments and strategic investments.
In his new role, Travers will help evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis of potential acquisition and development projects. He will also support Project Management in the execution and delivery of new ground-up work. Travers' addition to Premier will help strengthen the development team and unify members to dynamically pursue projects both internal and third-party.
Travers began his hospitality career with Ashford Inc. as an intern in 2017 and following graduation from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business in 2018, he landed a full-time job at the company as a financial analyst. During his time at Ashford, Travers first worked alongside the Asset Management group, providing analytical support at the above-property level for revenue management, asset management, legal, and risk teams. Later, his focus shifted to hotel acquisitions, where he aided three luxury hotel transactions, totaling 444 keys and approximately $540 million. In both roles, Travers' work at Ashford focused on driving performance at the firm's two externally advised REITs: Ashford Hospitality Trust (NYSE American: AHT) and Braemar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE American: BHR). While at Ashford, Travers gained a deep understanding of hotel operations, the interconnected role of asset and portfolio-level strategies, and how to leverage context when underwriting new acquisitions and developments.
