Tamara Salha has been appointed as General Manager at voco Dubai
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a new area general manager for its Premium, Essentials & Suites - UAE hotels division.
The role also includes that of general manager at voco Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road.
With a distinguished career spanning two decades within IHG Hotels & Resorts, the new GM brings a wealth of experience to this key role.
Tamara Salha was most recently general manager at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, Salha demonstrated strong leadership by cultivating a high-performing team. Her efforts culminated in a record-breaking year for the hotel across all performance indicators.
Salha's journey with IHG includes a noteworthy task force role as the cluster hotel manager at Crowne Plaza & Staybridge Suites Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, where she played a crucial role in supporting the properties for six months.
Her history with voco Dubai dates to her earlier tenure as the hotel manager. Beginning her career at InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut, Salha held various roles in commercial, rooms division, and ultimately as hotel manager.
In her new role as the area general manager, Salha will play a pivotal part in supporting the growth of IHG's Premium, Essentials & Suites hotel brands in key gateway cities in the UAE.
Leveraging her extensive background in hospitality management, she will enhance the brand's reputation for excellence and strong relationships with the owners.
