Laura Vera has been appointed as Group Sales Manager – Large Group Markets at Kimpton Pittman Hotel

Vera, who has nineteen years of hospitality sales experience, will utilize her strong network of relationships and existing clientele to generate bookings for corporate and leisure groups. She joins the team from the Thompson San Antonio Riverwalk where she served as the only sales manager for the hotel responsible for all group sales. Prior, Vera worked with Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa for thirteen years, holding roles including mid-market manager and large market manager. Vera has received multiple awards within the hospitality industry, including Hyatt's HyPerformer and Elite Performer accolades during her tenure with the brand. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her three kids, taking spin classes and playing the piano, a hobby she has enjoyed since she was ten years old.
