Ayo Akinsete has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Generator
Generator, the leading lifestyle hybrid accommodation brand, has appointed Ayo Akinsete as their new Chief Operating Officer.
Tasked with leading the company's global operations, Akinsete will also oversee Generator's upcoming openings and transitions for new projects at a time of rapid growth for the brand.
With more than 15 years of industry experience, Akinsete brings a wealth of credentials and expertise to the position. Prior to his role at Generator, Akinsete led and implemented operations at top hospitality brands across Europe and the USA, including in his role as Area Managing Director at SH Hotels and Resorts, where he oversaw its European portfolio. Prior to this, Akinsete led operations at Dream Hotel Group, managing the group's East and West Coast assets and overseeing new openings.
The new appointment comes after record-breaking results for the business, marked by strategic efforts to consolidate its presence in key markets across Europe and the United States. Capitalising on the growing interest and the success of its unique hybrid accommodation model, the brand aims to extend its reach into Asia and the Middle East.
Ayo Akinsete is an alumnus of University of South Carolina – Class of 2008.
