Corinna Wenks has been appointed as General Manager at Park Hyatt Chicago
Park Hyatt Chicago, a reimagined 182-room hotel set in the lauded Gold Coast neighborhood, has announced the appointment of Corinna Wenks as the new General Manager. Formerly with the property from 2010 to 2015, Corinna rejoins the Park Hyatt Chicago family following her time with the Grand Hyatt Dallas Fort Worth and The Driskill in Austin, Texas. With more than two decades of extensive experience, Corinna brings a wealth of historical knowledge and proven success managing high-profile properties to continue to elevate Park Hyatt Chicago as a premier landmark destination for the discerning traveler.
A celebrated industry veteran, Corinna was first introduced to hotel management with the Hyatt Regency in Cologne, overseeing the housekeeping division before transitioning into her role as Front Desk Manager and Executive Housekeeper with the Hyatt Regency in Cleveland, Ohio. A passion for cultivating a strong service culture and curated guest experiences, Corinna would work her way up the ranks within Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, transitioning to Assistant Director of Rooms at Hyatt Regency Waikiki in 2009, before moving to Director of Rooms at Park Hyatt Chicago where she was awarded "Director of Rooms of the Year." Following her move to the West Coast with the Grand Hyatt San Francisco, she then joined the The Driskill team in Austin, Texas before overseeing the Grand Hyatt Dallas Fort Worth for the last four years.
With a keen understanding of the dynamic and ever-evolving hospitality landscape, Corinna is poised to lead Park Hyatt Chicago into a new era, creating unique guest experiences while overseeing hotel operations including revenue management and strategic planning.
