Dan Dolan has been appointed as General Manager at The Abbey Resort & Avani Spa
The Abbey Resort & Avani Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Dolan to General Manager of Lake Geneva's only lakeside full service resort. Dan brings a wealth of executive leadership along with a diverse background in hospitality sales and marketing. Prior to taking on this operations role, Dolan was the Interim General Manager and the Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Benchmark Global Hospitality, The Abbey Resort's management company.
Dolan will guide the direction of the resort and quality standards to provide "a truly memorable lakeside experience." He leads business planning and maintaining the resort's financial performance as well.
Leaning on his industry experience of over 30 years, Dolan will oversee a team of approximately 120 team members. Dolan has worked in hospitality positions at several major hotels and resorts nationwide such as the Ritz-Carlton, Fairmont and KSL Resorts in various direct sales and sales & marketing leadership roles. He also brings expertise in the meeting industry, having worked with major industry players including with the Japan Travel Bureau, Experient and Creative Group.
