Ruben Avila has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Hilton Los Cabos

Hilton Los Cabos, an award-winning beachfront resort, has announced Ruben Avila as the resort's new food and beverage director. An industry veteran with more than three decades of hospitality experience, Avila oversees all aspects of the resort's restaurant operations including dining services, staff management, revenue management and strategic planning. In this role, Avila will manage the resort's day-to-day operations for the culinary division, overseeing chefs, service staff, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all six (6) culinary concepts offered on property. Avila joins Hilton Los Cabos from Marriott Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta where he served as food and beverages manager. His visionary approach will continue to elevate Hilton Los Cabos as a premier culinary destination for travelers seeking elevated, one-of-a-kind Baja experiences.

Over the course of his career, Ruben has served as general manager, food and beverage director and restaurant manager across an array of Mexico and U.S. hotels, including One & Only Palmilla Resort Hotel, Four Seasons Chicago, as well as Pueblo Bonito Group. Throughout each role, he excelled in training and development, cultivating an excellent work environment and contributing to the property's creative culinary ideation. Avila's attention to detail and ability to curate strong relationships with guests, team members and partners positions him as a true asset to the resort.
