Melina Forla has been appointed as General Manager at Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa
Melina Forla, boasting over 25 years in the hospitality industry, has been an integral part of JEM Worldwide's leadership team since 2022. A native Argentinean, Forla has worked at renowned resorts in the Caribbean, United States and Latin America, including 12 years with Marriott International's Westin Brand in the Caribbean, specializing in Sales and Operations. Notably, she has spent most of her hospitality career in the Cayman Islands, where her efforts were concentrated on sales for leisure, corporate and incentive group segments. Leading a team of experts from JEM, Forla is exclusively dedicated to planning and executing Salterra's grand opening in 2025.
Situated on the pristine beaches of South Caicos Island, Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Turks & Caicos will invite guests to discover world-class watersports, fine dining, immaculate white sand beaches, and enchanting cultural experiences, anchored by a true sense of place. Salterra is slated to open its doors in early 2025 and will be the first Marriott Luxury Collection resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
