David Mulin has been appointed as General Manager at Six Senses Ibiza

Six Senses Ibiza has announced the appointment of David Mulin as General Manager. With 15 years' of experience in senior management positions at luxury resorts across the globe, David joins from a multi-property managerial position across the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara and the Hotel Boutique Bóvedas de Santa Clara, Colombia. Prior to this, David served as the General Manager of the Sofitel Baru Calablanca Beach Resort, which successfully launched amidst the challenges of the pandemic.

With a masters degree from the prestigious Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, David began his hospitality journey with Four Seasons at The George V, Paris, before moving on to further his experience at The Dorchester Collection in London. His professional development continued in India and the Middle East region; at The Taj in Mumbai and across One&Only resorts in the Maldives and Dubai. David joined St. Regis' Punta Mita Mexico in 2016, before moving to Colombia to take on his most recent role. Drawing upon his strengths in strategic planning and implementation, financial budgeting, capital planning and operations management, David excels in ensuring guest satisfaction.Throughout his career, David has achieved notable milestones, including overseeing the St. Regis Punta Mita receive a Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Award for the first time during his tenure. He takes pride in his extensive collection of accolades from reputable sources such as Travel & Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Luxury Lifestyle Awards, and others.
