Michael Narciso has been appointed as Executive Chef at The Ranch Hudson Valley
Executive Chef at The Ranch Hudson Valley, Michael Narciso is a passionate advocate for healthy, nutrient-dense, plant-based cuisine. His journey has been marked by a profound belief in the power of food as medicine. This guides his approach as he creates and oversees the daily menu at The Ranch Hudson Valley. With meals focused on detoxification and revitalization, his expertise and creativity enrich every meal served, with each dish meticulously crafted from local, seasonal, and organic ingredients.
Chef Michael began his culinary career in New York City working in fast-paced restaurants before moving into hospitality in hotels, catering, and even orchestrating kosher events. In the mid-90s, Narciso shifted into the healthcare industry and dedicated himself to serving in both acute and long-term care facilities and contributing to homeless services throughout New York City. However, it was in 2013 that Michael shifted paths to create his own primarily plant-based cafe called Mia's Kitchen in Suffern, New York.
Michael has witnessed the impact of a plant-based diet firsthand. From weight loss and reduced medication dependency to improved mental health and glowing skin the results were incredible and inspiring. Michael has been plant-based for close to 10 years now and in his new role at The Ranch Hudson Valley, is eager to support guests throughout their stay with dishes that delight the palate through an innovative approach that includes plant-based renditions of classic comfort foods along with artfully-prepared fine dining-inspired meals.
