Deepak Mehta has been appointed as Director of Finance at Shangri-La Muscat
Shangri-La Muscat has announced the appointment of Deepak Mehta as the resort's new director of finance.
Mehta joins the team from the St Regis Maldives and has previously served as director of finance at Shangri-La New Delhi, and brings a wealth of experience to the role, with almost two decades' work in financial management in the hospitality industry.
A chartered accountant by training, Mehta's financial acumen, leadership skills and in-depth industry knowledge have opened doors to executive roles at some of top hotel brands, with a particular focus on the APEC region.
Mehta's expertise will be instrumental in fine-tuning the financial management strategy of the complex, which features 640 rooms and suites, the hotel states.
