Laurent Garrido has been appointed as General Manager at InterContinental Marseille – Hotel Dieu

A graduate of the International Hotel Management Institute Cornell-Essec, Laurent Garrido has held various responsible positions in prestigious hotels around the world throughout his career.

After spending five years in Mauritius as Resort Manager for LUX Resorts and Beachcomber, he moved to Tahiti where he successfully rebranded the Sheraton property into a Hilton.

Returning to France in 2010, he joined the Royal Evian team as General Manager, tasked with a major renovation and development project. In a natural progression, Laurent Garrido subsequently became the General Manager of the Clinique La Prairie in Montreux in 2014, a renowned establishment specializing in medical, aesthetic, and luxury care.

With his extensive experience in luxury hospitality, Laurent Garrido then spent 8 years with the Barrière group. Initially, he served as the General Manager of Naoura Marrakech for 3 years, followed by 5 years as General Manager of the Hermitage Hotel and Regional General Manager for the La Baule Resort.

Laurent Garrido is an alumnus of Cornell | Executive and Professional Education – Class of 1994.
