Taylor Murphy has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego
Murphy began his hospitality career at Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa with Evolution Hospitality before joining Hard Rock Hotel San Diego in 2020, serving as Assistant Director of Rooms and Director of Operations. During his three years with the property, he played a critical role in rebuilding operations post-pandemic, with a focus on elevating service standards and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Before returning to San Diego, Murphy was the General Manager of Hotel Adeline, part of Marriott's Tribute Portfolio in Scottsdale, Arizona, since early 2023. There, he fostered a strong internal culture, aligned with Marriott's philosophy, while overseeing multiple successful renovation projects and significantly improving guest satisfaction and RevPAR growth.
