Evan Harrington has been appointed as General Manager at Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island

Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island has appointed Evan Harrington as its new general manage. WWith more than 20 years of experience across Africa and the Middle East, Harrington brings industry knowledge and a strong track record in guest-centric leadership.

Evan Harrington

Previously general manager at Hilton Garden Inn Ras Al Khaimah, Harrington led operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and team development, in alignment with the Hilton brand's high standards. His career also includes management roles at brands such as Radisson Collection and Fairmont, where he honed a hands-on approach to fostering high-performing teams and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Harrington, originally from South Africa, is as passionate about culture and cuisine as he is about hospitality. He brings a personal love for cooking, with South African Milk Tart, a family recipe from his mother, among his favorite dishes to prepare. His current reading choice, Ritz and Escoffier: The Hotelier, The Chef, and the Rise of the Leisure Class by Luke Barr, reflects his interest in the historical context of the hospitality industry. Harrington recently travelled to Georgia, where he explored Tbilisi's art scene, took a cooking class in a local's home, and enjoyed a snowy night at the opera.
