Tod Chambers has been appointed as General Manager at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Hotel, announces the recent appointment of Tod Chambers as General Manager. A hospitality veteran with over three decades of experience, Chambers will oversee all aspects of hotel operations at the iconic property, ensuring it continues to define luxury and sophistication while celebrating the essence of California living.

Chambers brings an illustrious career history to his new role. Most recently, he served as General Manager of The Roosevelt Hotel - A Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New Orleans, where he led a $175 million reopening following its closure due to Hurricane Katrina and $30 million property renovation in 2018-19. During his tenure, the property achieved record-breaking guest satisfaction growth in 2023 and received numerous accolades, including Hotel of the Year (2012 and 2013). Chambers himself has been recognized five times as Hilton's Luxury Division's General Manager of the Year.

Previously, as Managing Director of Waldorf Astoria Chicago and what was formerly Conrad Chicago, Chambers introduced Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star service standards and streamlined operations with an innovative shared services model. His approach enhanced team communication, improved operational efficiency and upheld impeccable service standards across both luxury brands.

Beyond his reputation for service excellence, Chambers has extensive expertise in large-scale renovations and openings.
