Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island has announced the appointment of Prasanth Janarthanan as its first commercial manager. Janarthanan has a wealth of experience within the industry, with a career spanning over 20 years.
As commercial manager Janarthanan will oversee day-to-day operations of the commercial division of Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island, elevating its market's presence, aligning with its goals and providing exceptional guest service.
Prior to the appointment Janarthanan served as the complex director of sales & marketing for Millennium Place Barsha Heights Hotel & Apartments. Alongside other key leadership roles Janarthanan served as cluster head of sales and marketing, and cluster reservation manager positions within global brands, showcasing his ability to drive results and foster growth.
His recent appointment comes at a time of growth for Ras Al Khaimah's tourism landscape. Since its opening in 2021, Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island has welcomed over 1 million visitors, a testament to the hotel's success and pivotal role in Ras Al Khaimah's tourism development. As the largest Hampton by Hilton globally, the resort is located on Marjan Island.
