Reiko Sakata has been appointed as General Manager at Imperial Hotel, Kyoto
Sakata joined Imperial Hotel, Ltd. in 2003 and began her career in wedding planning, later served as Deputy Manager of Human Resources. She was named Director of Weddings in 2020, Director of Kyoto Preparatory Office in 2024, and she will assume the Imperial Hotel, Kyoto's General Manager on April 1st , 2025.
She is a graduate of the Tokyo Woman's Christian University and holds a Master's degree from the Graduate School of Business Administration, Keio University. She enjoys her daily meditative jog along the waterfront —wherever she is in the world.
