The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village is proud to announce the promotion of Susan Cecere David to Senior Sales Executive. With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Susan has consistently demonstrated strategic leadership, a passion for mentorship, and a proven ability to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Since joining the resort two years ago, Susan has played a pivotal role in expanding the Wholesale/FIT, Special Corporate, and Contract segments. Her efforts have contributed to record-setting performance and positioned the resort as a top destination within Marriott's LUMINOUS program.
Susan's hospitality journey spans an impressive array of sales and leadership roles including Sales & Catering Coordinator, Catering Manager, Director of Catering, Sales Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Regional Director of Revenue Generation overseeing 42 hotels. A strategic and results-driven sales executive, she is also known for her dedication to mentoring future industry leaders through both onsite and virtual coaching.
A proud alumna of Hofstra University, Susan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and has earned designations as a Certified Hospitality Sales Executive (CHSE) and Certified Hospitality Marketing Executive (CHME).
Originally from Long Island, New York, Susan's career path has taken her from Denver to Cape Coral, where she now lives with her husband Tony, their two daughters, and their beloved German Shepherd, Kuma. Outside of work, she enjoys boating, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.
