Sharon Raj has been appointed as Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing at Kochi Marriott
Kochi Marriott is delighted to announce the appointment of Sharon Raj as the new Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, overseeing three of Marriott's flagship properties in Kerala -Kochi Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport, and Port Muziris, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel.
With over two decades of hospitality experience, Sharon brings a powerful blend of sales leadership and brand strategy, having worked with global names such as Accor, IHG, and The Executive Centre. Most recently, she held the role of Cluster Director of Sales & Operations for ibis Chennai City Centre and ibis Chennai Sipcot under Accor Hotels, where she successfully led multi-property commercial strategy while also contributing to operational efficiency during a strategic taskforce assignment at ibis Navi Mumbai.
An alumna of S.C.S. Kothari Academy in Chennai, Sharon holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science with a specialization in Marketing and Human Resources.
Sharon's appointment comes at a time when Kochi's hospitality landscape is poised for growth, especially in the MICE segment. With a track record of turning insights into action, Sharon is all set to script a compelling new chapter for Marriott's presence in the region.
