The Chedi Muscat announces the appointment of Mahmoud Sakr as General Manager of The Chedi Muscat, the group's flagship property. His appointment follows the promotion of Karim Bizid to Chief Operating Officer of Chedi Hospitality.
Sakr brings over 30 years of experience leading some of the region's most prestigious luxury hotels. Known for his operational precision and guest-centric approach, he combines tradition with innovation to deliver exceptional results.
He currently transitions from his role as General Manager of The Chedi Hegra, where he leads the successful launch of Saudi Arabia's first hotel within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. His thoughtful approach to positioning, guest experience, and service culture earns regional and international recognition.
Sakr's career spans senior leadership roles across renowned luxury hotels in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, including Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, and St. Regis Al Masa. He is widely respected for driving performance, fostering guest loyalty, and cultivating high-performing teams built on trust and care.
