Nicklaus Oda has been promoted to Director of Housekeeping at InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco

Nicklaus Oda has been promoted to Director of Housekeeping at the historic InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco.

Nicklaus Oda

Nick first joined the hotel as Assistant Manager of Housekeeping in June 2024, where he oversaw a 383-room operation with a long-standing union team. His leadership quickly made an impact: fostering team trust, boosting performance, and maintaining cleanliness scores above 90%, even in the face of a historic property's challenges.

With over 15 years in hospitality—most recently holding leadership roles at the Palace Hotel and Hotel Zephyr—Nick brings deep operational expertise, a commitment to coaching and development, and a hands-on approach to building team culture.

He was named Q1 Leader of the Quarter in 2025 and officially stepped into his new role as Director of Housekeeping in June 2025.
