Praveen Paul has been appointed as Area Vice President, Middle East and Africa (MEA) at Agilysys Dubai
Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of hospitality software and services, announced that the hospitality industry veteran Praveen Paul has joined its Sales and Commercial leadership team, reporting to Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Joe Youssef.
Praveen Paul has joined Agilysys as Area Vice President, Middle East and Africa (MEA), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Mr. Paul has more than 25 years of experience scaling businesses across MEA and the Asia Pacific region, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of Winsar Group, a property management system (PMS) provider based in India.
During his eight-year tenure with Winsar, Mr. Paul led a technology transformation from legacy software to a full SaaS platform, which now accounts for more than 80 percent of new sales for Winsar. Under his leadership, Winsar tripled its market presence to more than 30 countries and more than 2,200 installations before being acquired by RB Software in February 2025.
