Amanda Chades has been appointed as Opening General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Cape Canaveral

McKibbon Hospitality, an award-winning leader in hotel management, has appointed Amanda Chades as General Manager of Hilton Garden Inn Cape Canaveral, slated to open this fall.

A seasoned McKibbon leader, Amanda brings more than a decade of hospitality experience to her new role. She began her career with McKibbon in 2012 as a Front Desk Associate at Hyatt Place Plantation where she quickly advanced to Director of Rooms and later Operations Manager. In 2014, she was promoted to Assistant General Manager of Residence Inn Fort Myers before stepping into her first General Manager role, where she led the property to exceed its profitability goals.

Most recently, Amanda served as General Manager of Hampton Inn & Suites Cape Coral, maintaining an associate turnover rate of less than 10 percent while consistently receiving high associate engagement survey results.

In addition to her on-property responsibilities, she has served on McKibbon task forces and hotel opening teams, mentoring new general managers, supporting operational improvements across McKibbon's portfolio, and contributing to the company's broader growth and success. Prior to joining McKibbon, Amanda spent seven years at Publix Super Markets, where she honed her customer service expertise.

Located at 150 Imperial Boulevard, Hilton Garden Inn Cape Canaveral features 156 spacious guestrooms and suites across six floors, along with 1,100 square feet of flexible meeting space and an independently branded tiki-inspired restaurant and bar. Space-themed design elements throughout the property pay tribute to Cape Canaveral's legacy of innovation and exploration. Hilton Garden Inn Cape Canaveral is owned and developed by McKibbon Equities, responsible for new development and asset management of McKibbon-owned properties. McKibbon's development arm, McKibbon Places, is serving as project manager and overseeing construction and design. Base4 is the architect with Certified General Contractors serving as general contractor. McKibbon's management arm, McKibbon Hospitality, is operating the hotel.
