La Bahia Hotel & Spa, Santa Cruz's first true luxury hotel set to open this September, is proud to announce the appointment of Kim Mutz as Director of Spa and Wellness. With wellness as a significant pillar in the hotel's narrative, the strategic hire comes at a pivotal time for La Bahia Hotel & Spa as it prepares for its anticipated grand opening.

Kim Mutz

In her new role, Kim will oversee the overall operations, staff, services, and guest experience of the spa and wellness facilities - ensuring high standards in treatments, wellness programming and profitability. An industry leader with over fifteen years of experience managing luxury hotel spas and an additional ten years as a massage therapist, she will be instrumental in ensuring the spa's success and growth. Prior to joining La Bahia Hotel & Spa, Kim was the Spa Director at the Four Seasons Denver where she increased overall revenue by 12 percent. With Kim at the helm, The Spa at La Bahia will redefine the wellness offerings in the area, as the concept will offer four indoor and four outdoor treatment rooms, a sauna that overlooks Monterey Bay, two steam rooms and a rooftop zen deck that provides clear sightlines out over the horizon.
