Evan Harrington has been promoted to Cluster General Manager at Mövenpick Resort & Pullman Al Marjan Island

Accor has appointed Evan Harrington as cluster general manager for Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island and Pullman Hotels and Resorts Al Marjan Island. In this newly expanded role, Harrington will lead both properties.

He will oversee all aspects of performance across the two resorts - from commercial strategy and operations to F&B, wellness, brand, and sustainability - with a focus on creating greater cross-property synergies and guest experiences.

With nearly two decades of leadership experience across the Middle East and Africa, Harrington has previously held general manager roles with Pullman, Hilton Garden Inn and DoubleTree by Hilton, and senior operations positions with Radisson Collection, Fairmont and Hilton. Known for building high-performing teams and delivering service excellence, he brings a strong people-first approach to his cluster leadership.

Under his remit, Harrington will prioritise unified commercial planning and revenue management to strengthen market share, while enhancing signature experiences across rooms, dining, wellness and family-leisure offerings. He will also advance ESG initiatives spanning waste reduction, local sourcing and community engagement, alongside nurturing talent pipelines and future leaders across both resorts.
