William (Bill) Bunce has been appointed as General Manager at The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection
The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection today proudly announces the appointment of William (Bill) Bunce as the resort's new General Manager. In his new position, Bunce will oversee all day-to-day operations, continuing to elevate the guest experience and the resort's historic legacy.
Bringing more than 25 years of experience with Marriott International, Bunce most recently served asGeneral Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Boston, where he led a comprehensive renovation and strategic market repositioning that further solidified the property's standing as one of the city's premier luxury hotels. During his tenure, he also provided operational leadership for 374 luxury residences across three condominium associations.
Bunce's extensive career with Marriott International includes leadership positions across several of the brand's luxury properties, including serving as Opening General Manager of W Boston Hotel & Residences and Complex General Manager of W New York - Times Square and W New York - Union Square.
Passionate about community, Bunce brings his leadership and civic engagement to his new home in St. Petersburg. As the former Chair of the New England Business Council and an active member of the Downtown Boston Alliance, he now looks forward to connecting with the vibrant local business and cultural community that surrounds The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club. His appointment underscores The Vinoy's continued commitment to world-class hospitality and deepening its nearly century-long legacy as a cornerstone of St. Petersburg's downtown waterfront.
