Karelle Lamouche has been promoted to CEO for Europe and North Africa at Accor

Hotel giant Accor has promoted Karelle Lamouche to the position of CEO for Europe and North Africa covering its premium, midscale and economy brands.

Lamouche, who has been with the France-based company for nearly 30 years, moves up from her previous role of chief operating officer for Europe and North Africa.

In her new position, Lamouche will have responsibility for 3,000 hotels across the region, which represent around 40 per cent of Accor's total rooms globally.

Lamouche first joined Accor in 1998 and spent time as a hotel general manager before moving into country and global leadership roles.

Patrick Mendes was previously Accor's CEO for Europe and North Africa between 2023 and May 2025.
