The Neighborhood Hotel (TNH) announced the promotion of Matthew Shanley to Chief Operating Officer.

The promotion reflect the continued evolution of The Neighborhood Hotel platform as it executes on its growth plans in its current locations (Illinois & Michigan) and expand into new cities. 

Matt helps manage the cross-functional teams supporting the brand's growth. He oversees operations, revenue strategy, marketing, and technology, with a focus on performance management, system scalability, and consistent guest experience.

Previously, Shanley served as Head of Revenue and Operations at The Neighborhood Hotel, where he led revenue management, pricing strategy, demand generation, and operational excellence initiatives. His background includes management consulting roles at Huron Consulting Group and Civic Consulting Alliance, as well as experience with Equity Lifestyle Properties and Merrill Lynch. Shanley earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in Entrepreneurship from Columbia College.
