Matthew de Quillien has been appointed as General Manager at The Huntington Hotel

Matthew began his career in Daniel Boulud's acclaimed New York restaurants before joining Soho House in London, where he helped shape the brand's lifestyle approach and contributed to multiple European pre-opening teams. He later served as General Manager of Dormy House Hotel & Spa in the Cotswolds, guiding the property to consecutive Condé Nast accolades, and went on to oversee Forbes Five-Star food and beverage operations at Montage Laguna Beach. In Sonoma County, Matthew played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Farmhouse Inn post-pandemic—reintroducing Michelin-inspired dining, launching an award-winning wellness program, and helping the hotel secure a place on Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List. As Area General Manager for both Farmhouse Inn and 27 North, he led a comprehensive rebrand and developed strategic partnerships that elevated the overall guest experience.
