Alistair Campbell has been appointed as General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Piccadilly

Alistair Campbell has been appointed as the new General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Piccadilly, bringing nearly three decades of industry-leading experience to the popular city centre hotel.

Working in the hospitality industry since the age of 18, Alistair has successfully navigated his career to General Manager positions at several top hotels across the UK. Most recently, he served as General Manager at The Queens Hotel, Leeds. He has now joined the DoubleTree by Hilton team in the city he has proudly called home for 12 years.

The Glasgow-born General Manager relocated to Manchester to immerse himself in the city's vibrant hospitality scene. Since then, he has successfully led both the Park Inn by Radisson Manchester City Centre and Radisson Blu Manchester Airport. With a long-standing connection to the Hilton brand from earlier roles in Scotland, his ambition was always to return to Hilton, making this appointment a natural next step in his career.

DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Piccadilly is operated by leading hospitality management company, Valor Hospitality and owned by ProsperCap. With a portfolio of 40 hotels across the UK, Valor is a trusted partner for hotel owners and investors.

In his new role, Alistair will work closely with the Valor Hospitality leadership team to ensure guest satisfaction is maximised, team engagement remains high and financial performance is optimised.
