Jay Rocha has been appointed as Vice President & General Manager at Silverado Resort
Silverado Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Rocha to Vice President and General Manager for the Napa Valley resort, effective December 15. A seasoned leader with more than three decades of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, Rocha will oversee the strategic direction, operational excellence, and performance of the iconic property while reinforcing Silverado’s position as a premier wine country destination.
Under Rocha’s leadership, Silverado will enhance its reputation for exceptional service and community engagement while fostering a workplace culture rooted in professional growth. This vision extends to every facet of the resort’s premier offerings, from its championship golf course and world-class spa and wellness offerings to its diverse culinary outlets and exclusive club membership.
Rocha joins Silverado Resort with more than 35 years of leadership experience spanning luxury resorts, spas, and prestigious golf and country clubs. He has a demonstrated history of achieving unprecedented revenue growth and building award-winning resort cultures.
Prior to joining Silverado Resort, Rocha held leadership roles at golf resorts, mountain resorts, IACC conference center resorts, and clubs at independent and branded properties, including Hyatt, Four Seasons, Westin, and Wyndham, as well as corporate positions with Benchmark Hospitality. Throughout the course of his career, he has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades, including the James Simkins Award, Benchmark Hospitality’s highest honor for exemplifying leadership.
